Do you ever have those days when you get home from work, it’s the end of your day and you’re just disappointed in yourself? A lot of times this happens on a Monday. What am I talking about?
I’m Debbie Harris. I’m co-owner of Maynestreet Weight Loss down on the shoreline in Connecticut. And how many times have we said Monday, Monday for sure I’m going to eat better. I’m not going to eat all the crap I’ve been eating lately. I’m not going to drink as much alcohol as I’ve been drinking.
Monday rolls around. Maybe something happens with the kids, maybe with the dog, maybe with the cat, maybe at work. And what happens? All that fortitude goes right out the window and we find at the end of our day we actually feel bad. We don’t feel like we had a successful day and we tend to focus on that instead of maybe all the other wonderful things that happened that day.
Maybe all the wonderful things we accomplished. Well, how many Mondays have you had? How many times have you judged your day by what you ate or what you drank or what you didn’t eat or didn’t drink?
