Dieting Successfully through the Holidays

Have you ever been on a diet and then went on vacation, went on an extended business trip, went away for the weekend? I’ve been getting a lot of questions about that this week, in particular. Dieting Successfully through the Holidays

Oh my gosh, Debbie, I’m going here. I’m going there. I’m on your program. I’m losing weight every day but I’m freaking out that I’m gonna blow the whole thing. I’m Debbie Harris. I’m the co-owner of Maynestreet Weight Loss here on the stunning Connecticut shoreline and let me give you a few tips.

First of all, if you’re part of our program, these are things we discuss. We talk about what to do when we go on a business trip. We talk about what to do when we’re on vacation, but maybe you’re not part of our program yet. Here’s a few tips for you this time of year. A lot of people are going away.

There’s a lot, a lot of travelling going on. There are vacations, There’s family visits, There’s hanging out with friends. First and foremost, don’t freak out. Remember you are an adult. If you are looking to eat cleaner to feel healthier and you know what the next couple of months are like. Just think about making the best choice possible. You know, you may have a whole array of things to choose from. You might be at a buffet, you might be at a friend’s house, you might be at a restaurant, making the best choice possible.

You’ll have to go back to Maynestreet Weight Loss onYouTube and check my video about what to do about alcohol because this time of year, that also becomes much more of a big deal. Remember, look at a menu beforehand. Talk to a friend before you go there. Think about making the best choice.

Don’t deprive yourself, don’t stress, and by all means don’t feel guilty. Get up the next day and you follow your clean eating and if you need help with that clean eating, you want to make sure to send a message right with this video and we’ll invite you to one of our informational webinars and you can learn about how our clients are going to have a great time through these holidays.
